El pianista ruso Mikhail Kambarov, de veinticuatro años, es ganador de premio en la 17.ª edición del Concurso Internacional de Piano Van Cliburn, uno de los certámenes más prestigiosos del mundo.

Entre otros, ganó el primer premio en el 11.º Concurso Internacional Chopin para Jóvenes Pianistas en Estonia, así como el premio a la mejor interpretación de J. S. Además de su amplia actividad como solista, Mikhail Kambarov es también un apasionado y experimentado músico de cámara y pianista acompañante de lied. Con el Trio Fulminato ha obtenido numerosos premios, entre ellos el primer premio nacional con la máxima puntuación en “Jugend musiziert”, acompañado de un premio de patrocinio de la Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben. El trío es asimismo ganador del “WDR Klassikpreis”, del “MDR Special Prize” y del “Hermann Abs Special Prize” de la Casa Beethoven de Bonn a la mejor interpretación de una obra de Ludwig van Beethoven. En 2018, el Trio Fulminato realizó una gira de conciertos por Estados Unidos con actuaciones en Boston, Nelson y Washington D. C. Los conciertos del Trio Fulminato han sido grabados en varias ocasiones y transmitidos por MDR Kultur y WDR 3.

Nacido en el año 2000 en Nizhni Nóvgorod (Rusia), Mikhail Kambarov recibió sus primeras clases de piano a los cinco años con Natalya Fish y debutó con orquesta a los ocho años junto a la Orquesta Filarmónica de Nizhni Nóvgorod. A los dieciséis años se trasladó a Alemania para continuar su formación pianística en el “Hochbegabtenzentrum Schloss Belvedere Weimar” con el profesor Christian Wilm Müller. Desde octubre de 2023 continúa sus estudios con el profesor Michail Lifits.

In addition to his extensive solo activities, Mikhail Kambarov is also a passionate and experienced chamber musician and lied pianist. With the "Trio Fulminato" he has won numerous prizes, including the 1st National Prize with maximum points at "Jugend musiziert", combined with a sponsorship prize from the "Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben".
